All I am saying is that we shouldn't forget the AT's they are the basis, but brawl will present us with an abundant amount new Tactics to discover. You see be going to E-4-all and demonstrating your Hardcore skillz you may have missed some subtle new tactics, because you were so intent on doing the old tactics. This is not a slap in the face of anyone, we all get a myopic sometimes especially when we think we are the best at something and a lot of us here think we are the best. Well actually the reason for going to E for All was to test what advanced techniques were possible. All but wave dashing was in. L-canceling was made automatic (probably only for the demo) everything else was more or less in tact or improved in the case of edge hogging. And theres more to advanced techniques than simply moves. There are tactics and thought processes not obvious at a glance. I responded in depth in your thread. Please take the time read it. And if I come off as rude, I'm not trying to lol. I just have my own typing style. If you take the time out to read my "essay" then I think you'll understand what I'm getting at.

Do you even know what advanced techniques are? Do you honestly see them as a magical door that = win all the time? That they're watching out for this witch craft and want to eliminate it from the game? You need to do some research. As I've said before the only thing really eliminated was wave dashing due to a new physics engine. Sakurai did not say "Hm people are getting clever at this game. Lets make it ********." I think you may have forgotten that Brawl was developed by people who played Melee a helluva lot. Advanced play is not magic. Its skill. Respond.

Kind of a rant but here goes anyways...

They removed something that they knew we loved, them removing wavedashing didn't accomplish anything. They don't want the game to be seriously competitive and they seriously think we, the .08% of the smash audience will make an impact online. Seriously, not cool. I was going to be nice and respect the newbs. But no, because your trying to make the game less pleasing for me I'm going online to destroy newbs. (Yeah I know I'm venting but I'm really upset about this) Seriously those newbs are going to get Chain Throwed, Comboed, it's not even going to be a game. Trying to make the game eaiser... Auto sweet spot ledge, easier to catch items, characters only playable with items, no wavedashing, possibly no L-Canceling. You guys can't catch everything! A friend of mine is better than me: he can chainthrow me, combo and detroy me... but he cant do the wavedash correctly and don't use it well. So the matches are very equal because i use the wavedash pretty well. I know he is gonna be happy because he will yuse his real potential now, without exploits or glitches.

Calm down, I was just ranting at night, I even said that before, some of it was a joke. And I don't think everyone else sucks, I'm not even that good, I'm an average player that uses ATs. Odds are your better then me, I'm just thinking it's possible that Nintendo is trying to soften the blow (which a lot of people here think) which is stupid IMO.

i want everyone here to see that this is a very pathetic attempt at saving face. Attacking someones real life to try and make themselves look good is the work of a scrub; you come off as a complete d*** sucking motherf*****, but with your logic I can make it go away by saying I was ranting or jk. I lawl at the last sentence in your defense. Talent will not be measured if you can use AT's, now it will be who can win with the least amount of them, so crying about them wont make them come back. Sakurai wants the game to be fair. No ranking means it will be. I know Mama, he is a very intelligent person and takes into consideration what people say, so if he finds flaws in what you say, then its flawed.

Saying the game isnt competitive without playing it yet is stupid. I embrace the fact that it will be different. It allows me to develop new skills thus making me a better player. Get used to not being able to do certain AT's. If you cant, then Brawl just isnt the game for you, so just keep playing Melee
