We really need a 1v1 for fun online

Just for people who want there rates to not be recorded and still want to do a 1v1 with random people online, sure the rate doesn't matter and its dumb, but what about fun? there are people who take it seriously and want there winning rate percents to raise, and they usually use captain falcon, little mac, etc, but why not a 1v1 for fun online?

I feel like that is where spammers would go to perfect their BS techniques before going onto For Glory. I mean, I like the idea in theory, but when it really comes don to it, how different would it be?

I would really like this. Whether or not win rate is meaningful, the knowledge that it exists makes me feel crappy about playing For Glory; I end up prioritising winning rather than learning and get irritated when I lose. I'd love a 1v1 environment where I can practise without caring about the result.

I really wish they would just let us change the rules in pub games. Sometimes i just wanna 4player smash but you cant because the For Fun 4player is a 2min timer...too short...and For Glory 4man is lame without items and in omega mode.

I like the idea of a 1v1 for fun online. Before I got into the competitive scene, having items turned on with all the stages was how I always played with my brother, and it was a lot of fun and added spice and variety to the 1-on-1 matches.

It's not even up for debate. 1v1 for fun items and 1v1 for fun without items should have been added, because good luck finding a regular for fun match without some lag.

I agree with the OP, be nice to do stock matches with randoms without having to worry about win/loss records.

I never play For Fun because of the atrocious lag, I'd be all for a 1v1 mode, would probably play more often than For Glory.
