Is waveshining important in Falco's game? If so how important is it?

i dont play falco, but my friend does and he uses WD for approach, spacing , and i think it makes you faster, but you should use it

most people waveshine against fast fallers. they can DI the shine better than other characters but they are also stunned longer so you need to be able to chase them down. watch a match of falco vs a fox on the sticky. you will see what i mean
