ok i looked at the other threads on waveshining but i have a specific problem. i can waveshine pretty well but i have a problem waveshining backwards. i shine then tilt the stick to the left ( if falco is facing right) and he just turns the left still in the shine. i tried lowering the stick more downward but that makes the wavedash of the shine really short (in distance the wavedash travels). any advice? if you understand waht im saying

Shine, jump cancel, tilt back and way, air dodge. It's not the easiest tech skill; you just have to understand the process.

I THINK the way I do it is like.. return the analog back to the center, then move it in the direction :\

like, for example... shine, return the analog back to the center, then waveshine... idk if that helps, of if that was just a waste of my time >__>" errm.

if you turn around that means youve input left before inputting jump. like said before try pressing x first before tilting.

or pretend youre facing right and you wanna do it backwards to the left, you can try control sticking towards the right then hit diagonal left. shiz told me thats the way he does it.
- its harder to do
- theres about a couple more frames of shine
+ i think you can get perfect wavedashes backwards.

I have this same problem to, sometimes I just do it out of nowhere, but when I want to do it, I have to concentrate really hard to make sure I don't do a shine turn-around in the process
