waveshine back

y does it seem harder to waveshine back than forward
some people turn around before they do it when they get to the control stick too fast. this could be why your timing is off. if you jump first before you angle it, you'll see this change

It seems... but it isn't. But, you'll always have a little trouble waveshining in a certain direction, for example: my right waveshines are longer than my left waveshines.

Very important to note that if you want to waveshine backwards you need to develop the habit of jumping before you angle the control stick. Plus alot of people don't actually fastfall straight down in certain situations which cause you to turn around as well. Just be more aware of what your hands are doing when trying to do these things.

If you start thinking about the way your fingers should be positioned, you'll probably pick it up really quickly.

Practice it both ways, it'll come in due time.

the problem with it is that the turn around animation takes priority over the jump. so you end up trying to jump and turn around at the same time. you can turn around first, but it's faster if you don't...
