ive been learning how to do something realy cool latley. we all know about the quick shine where your able to do the shine continously on the ground by quickly pressing down-b to jump back to down b before he leaves the ground.

now i was thinking about it if you can wave shine someone why not quickwaveshine someone. hit them with the doublequickshine. wave dash out of it like a normal shine.

i dont pretend to know how to fight like a pro with fox yettt.
i know there are foxs who quickshine. but still this is still pretty awsome to do. cus even the best players get caught of gaurd with this.

landing out of arials to quickshines. another good one. why arial shine when you can arial quickshine.

the other day i had the oppenent near the wall so i quckshined to a wave dash to force them against the wall to another double quickshine dash grab to a tripple quickshine upsmash.

and wats funny is the only reason i can handle this speed is because i play guitar.

some do it manually with the joystick. i mostly from y to b.

to fox players that cant quickshine yet. this takes alot of muscle strength in your thumb at first. to help your thumb muscles get used to it so they dont twich when trying lol. just go to onnett. practice quickshining over and over on the bushes. this will help you get the control of the speed. then after that.
go to a dif satge and practice on the ground. after you have it down try it on the comp or just go staright to human.

the max i can quickshine is 5 to 6 times. before i lose control. at least for now. i can only wave dash out of up to the 3rd quickshine.

double shinging into wavedashes intl waveshine combos would be very cool and pretty but not very efficient. shineing someone twice isnt more effective than shining them once and if anything only gives them more of a chance to sdi/di it.

landing aerials into double shines is pretty sweet too, lucky does it a lot and its sexy.

if you can do it 100% of the time then sure go for it, but itsno more useful than shining once

I've actually been working on wavedashing out of a double shine.

I can do three pretty consistently, but you really only need one, as JPOBS said.

Throwing in that extra shine sometimes can throw off someone's timing.

Aerial (if they shield it)> shine > shine> grab oos.

That's useful. Then again, it probably would be better to just grab after the first shine.

i see what yall are saying. to do it all the time would be dangerous becuase its not invincible to finding ways to stop it or go around it. you spam anything enough you can get punished for it. but i do know double shining for edge gaurding is better than one shine. yes if your on the ground or near a wall you can tech it but when theres nothign to tech on that extra knock back from the double matters. i know if you double shine a falco off the edge and done right he cant come back.

hey if yall could i would like to see a vid of someone doing this alot. maybe there are some aproaches i havnt thought about yet.

Its usually worse, because the performing the second shine pushes your opponent farther away. XIII would be making it more difficult on himself if he chose to doubleshine after a successful hit.

Doubleshine is good near the edge, you are correct. It almost feels like the knockback stacks (or something to that effect). The reason you shouldn't doubleshine waveshine is not that your opponent will find a way around it. It has to do with the fact that it offers no strategical advantage unless you are at the edge. Even the that edge situation is up in the air; most Foxes understand its great but don't know why or how it works - myself included.

My advice, stick to doubleshines on shields. If you can wavedash out of it, try performing it on someones shield and wavedashing backwards for some fast, tricky pressure.
