WAC or AirDodge

Okay, so my bro was watching me play, and he said that he could not see any match in which the WAC would be better than an AirDodge, so my bro wants to know when the WAC is even useful compared to AirDodge.

really rapid edgeguarding moves like ddd bair and marth fair

some stuff with mk, like if they try to dthrow -> fair you you can whistle the fair and hit them with a usmash. airdodge just doesn't let you attack as soon

Hmmm for me when i play offline i use the WAC alot more than online.

When you WAC, you'll eat up the whole attack, so lingering hitboxes won't bother you, while it could hit you out of a airdodge. The lag on both ends is also a little shorter than the airdodge's, so you can spam it more and punish better afterwards.

multihits and huge hitboxes that last longer than your air dodge invincibility. (For some multihits you have to whistle more than once, but if you're in KO range, just take the percentage. ;x)

Yeah, cause my bro believes the WAC is unnecessary, but i use it a lot when I play cause then i can easily Fair or Bair someone. Although when I airdodge i go farther from my enemy so i can't punish him.

It's hard to use WAC online though, cause it can really mess you up

basically WAC > sex kicks in general lol

1) for moves that last longer than the airdodge - sex moves

2) any move that can be repeated before another dodge is allowed.

3) any move that is attacking the "buffer system" or landing animations b/c airdodging as you land cancels that dodge...so WAC is the only option.

I use wac to "trade hits" with my opponent for the most part, like if I'm landing and I know they are gonna attack, I'll eat the percent with the whistle, fastfall and try to land a downsmash or something. It also helps when I'm trying to get back on the stage and I'm being edgeguarded. I probably whistle most against marth.

oh and it's also fun to use when you are at a ridiculous percent. I lived to 226 against hugs the other day ^_^

If I'm hit far up, I fall whistling sometimes.
It's annoying.
