Going to my first Tourney this Saturday on November 7th. The tournament is held at Waba Gaming in Duluth, GA. They usually hold weekly tournaments and I'm nervous yet excited. Although I know I can beat all of my friends and family with Meta Knight, I want to get better and see how well I fair among other competitive players. I'm not expecting to win this tourney, just want to get some experience from some veterans and improve myself as well. Looks like I'll be playing more friendlies than money matches I guess.

Well, this is my first blog entry thing and hope you enjoy. Just wanted to check out what a blog was anyways.

As a member of the GA community I say first off hey there and good to see a new face.

Second, I would say that weeklies at waba do not have that many people that go there, in act I don't even know if anyone goes there for weeklies anymore( I could be wrong). The monthlies are what people usually attend, ranging from a variety of attendants and get the best ga competition there. (Monthlies are on the 3rd Saturday of every month.)

I am of course not stopping you from going this weekend, I just wouldn't expect to see many people there. (Best time to go to waba is the day of the monthly.)

Nice. Another MK players.
I main Ganondorf and Sonic as well. I think it evens out the Meta Knight thing and doesn't consider me too cheap or anything.

But if monthly tournaments is were the competition is, I might as well participate. I will still participate in the Weekly tourney as well so I know where Waba is and to see who I can play against.
