I had a hard time with this match up recently, they have some good range and priority against samus. Thier projectiles are also very frustrating since they intterupt the chargeshot/missles easily. Maybe I'm just not used to fighting them yet, I havent seen them mentioned here so any thoughts? statagies?

Get them in the air, since samus has a better air game than the ICs do. Also work on separating Popo and Nana since the player will be extremely gimped with only one Ice Climber.

Do these ice climbers happen to chain grab? Because if they don't you have alot more options.

As the "genius" CO18 would say: "Don't get grabbed."

seriously though, if they chaingrab spam, you are probably screwed. Samus' projectiles lack the priority to get past IC's attacks, and going in close results in getting grabbed sooner or later.

You might need to invest the time in a new character who is a better match against the ICs.

Okay, bombs will stop the grabs if you time them well, it'll just take practice. The whole battle is about pressuring them with spam and then separating them, keeping them the hell away and spiking one, then you're good. Your whole focus, is based on separating them into a spike or KO. Don't give them time to desync either. It should be easy once you get one down.
