Vs. Falcon help

I need help facing Falcon and silent wolf doesn't seem to answer anymore so, any help?

Edit: Ok I can't really set any of my combos up and whenever I try to shffl nairs he always
grabs. I can't get close enough to grab because he'll nair me and knee me and I'm dead. My laser don't seem to bother him he just approaches cautiously and ends up grabing me. So I guess I need help on approaching him.

EDIT: I watched video problem sort of solved but i can't do those mind gamezzz and he's really cautous and cactuar stylr won't work he pwnz me when I camp

Yeah dude, no I can't up in here.

Mindgames can't be taught anyway. They just come natural the more you play people. A part of it is simply observing and reacting.

Anyway, as you saw in the vid, SHFFL nairs/to shines ***** Falcon. You want to stay as close to Falcon as possible in this match up. You don't want to give Falcon any breathing room. When you get Falcon in his shield, then you are in control of the match. The reason is because majority of Fox's attacks are much faster then Falcon's aerials out of a shield. So if you continue to apply pressure to him, he won't be able to jump out of his shield and stomp/knee you. But of course, you have to be smart about it. Don't mindlessly go nairing all over the place. Just look for openings and try not to lose momentum.



If you are SHFFLing your aerials correctly, you shouldn't be getting grabbed like that.

If you are SHFFLing and spacing your aerials correctly, you shouldn't be getting grabbed like that.

Shining and jabbing after aerials should also be mastered for avoiding sheildgrabs.

You know that jabbing is one of the worst things you can do these days right? Covering aerials with jab is bad because:

A - Its slow (comparatively, at least. I mean come on this is Fox the super fast spacy)

B - If they simply shield while moving, they can block your jab and get a free shield grab. One good grab is all a character needs these days to do massive damage.

C - You'll get CC grabbed.

If you want to do something after you miss a nair or any other aerial:

A - Shine, fullhop away onto platforms

B - Buffer roll

C - Run away

D - Pick Sheik

If he blocks your nair, you'll be in lag, and he'll be in shield. Therefore, he can grab you before your slow grab comes out. edit: btw when you know when he's gonna shield, use drillshine. nairshine doesn't work because there's too much time inbetween the nair and the shine especially if you're nairing at the top of the falcon's shield. when you drillshine the falcon he can't really do ****. unless he's smart and he rolls away from it.

I have to disagree, i think the Neutral to shine is a great way to sheild pressure, im not saying that the drill shine is bad, but i like the neutral shine better. but what i think is better for a combo is drill, L-Cancel to Grab, then up throw, and follow........ also watch a lot of video's, but when u watch them look closely !!!!!
