Nice stuff. I'd defringe the G&W, I guess. That one looks less appealing after looking at the others. Also, some of the pictures could be of the same color ish. Like pikachu and pichu.

The SSBM could look like this since it looks kinda empty in that area:

Lastly, the glow on the tier levels like "high tier" can be lessened a bit.

Btw, it looks like a food pyramid.
Have loads of bottom tier. Sparingly high tiers.

You sir are right the tier list should be based on the popularity of the indivdual characters as they stand outside of the game. It shouldn't be based on their ability to win and overall potential as a charcter in the game that would be the doings of someone that cared about the individuals fighting potential and as we all know SSBM is about looking at the graphics and how they interact w/ the button configuration.
