Virtual Pets

I remember I played Football and everyone had one at school, so I wanted one and my parents said I could only get one (it was like $20 and came with 12 pets in one) if I made a tackle, but I was offensive line. The game after they told me that I got my first tackle off an interception. I quit football shortly there after.
Once I got that digital pet, I lost interest pretty fast.

Haha. I also got a cheap rip-off Tamagotchi.
It wouldn't eat, it wouldn't play games with me, it wouldn't even poop. What a piece of crap. All I did was inject it with "medicine" over and over.

I remember how much I hated my cheap brand.
I actually ripped out one of the buttons, then told my dad that the hardware was poorly assembled, and that I needed a higher quality brand.
Sad to say, he never got me that seceond virtual pet.

Funny you should mention that. Mine fell off. I was trying to get the darn thing to eat, and it just popped out. I didn't even abuse that knock-off, though I probably should have.

tamagotchi are kinda fun to me,even if im 15,my sister stopped caring about her pet and killed it around 8 times

But... but... Woah. I'd never thought of pokemon as a virtual pet game.
This new finding amazes me. I've always thought of it as a one-on-one party RPG slash collecting game, but it also makes sense as a pet game. Augh!

I got a tamagotchi when it first came out. I think they were about $30 a piece.
They were so fun, well except when they wake you up in the night because they need to be fed. God it always pissed me off when they beep randomly in the middle of the night. I either ignored them or I just shoved them into a box so I couldn't hear it.

tamagotchis are annoying at first,the babies calls you every 2 mins,till they go adult they shut up

DUDE! tamagotchi were the bomb back in the day! I think i had a rip off one though... ^.^
i remember my best freind (at the time) and i got one each from our parents during christmas time.. but he got a kitty and i got a t-rex.. so i got jealous and asked him to swap.. eventually he got bored and forgot about them all together, while i still had the kitty
oh and neopets... i've been on and off neopets since like 6th grade.. i'd start an account, but then two months later i'd be bored stop.. then a year later i'll decide to play again, but my pets hate me and are dying by then so i'll start a new account.. and process continues.. XD.. .. i remember i had a Scorchio, a Meerca, a Pteri, and a Uni... ooo.. i think i'm gonna start again now XD
EDIT: ^.^ I just created ANOTHER new neopets account XD.. if anyone wants to add me, my name is [itsjustkelcii] ((pet is a bori named [itsjustmyql] ))

virtual pets is when you get to play with them.
Pokemon is when you force them to fight to the death.
And never show them love. You WANT them to get Pokerus so you do not waste time with them,
Pokemon wins.

I hate virtual pets for all the above stated reasons.
with the exception of a little pocket Pikachu, since all you had to do was win 'watts' on a slot machine and give them to it.
