Hey I go to JMU. If you host a tournament with a large enough entry fee/prize pool, then I'll make the trip down (~$35 in gas I guess? Sooo maybe if first prize is like at least $100+ I'll make the trip). If side money matches are a regular occurrence then that would also encourage me to make the trip.

Umm A$ you better hope 2nd place is $100 cuz I'm taking first! This is awesome though. I go to UVA, I would def be down to go to a tourney if you guys host one.

the plan is to get enough interest to set up a tournament. by posting on smashboards im hoping that we can find some more people, have some friendlies, and then maybe get a good sized (30 people) tournament going. it would be singles and doubles and probably a $5 entry fee but were still figuring it all out.

You would only make the trip if you made a profit of $65+? Hell, I would make it if all it did was cover gas. How often do you run into a 64 tournament?

Ive actually never been on Techs campus before. But If i ever wanted to go there, i could easily take the smart way bus from where i live(I think its $4)

Ha, all I would have to do is choose someone other than Pika and it's an easy win for me.
How about a $15 entry fee? Not that big of a difference.
Meh, it's a 2.5-3 hour drive from here I think. Make it a round trip and that's a lot of driving for a day.

n64 i hope? VC lags, as do most flat screen tv's. Shears you guys would use real n64's on crt tv's right?
A$, you should just stay a night at tech instead of driving there and back in a day. Or we could drive back to uva and you could stay a night at my place before heading back to jmu. Maximum Smash!
