Its no wonder there hardly any tournies in SW VA.

Most(if not all) of the smashers in VA live in either north VA or near virginia beach. Am i the only one that actually lives in Southwest VA?? lol

I guess NoVa is a "hotspot" for 64 with 3 smashers that I know of in the area lol. I haven't heard of any tournies up there since I've been playing, so you aren't missing much

^What shears said. You have no ****ing idea how bad my partner was. He lost his first 2 matches in singles. He was a kirby, and kept trying to convince me that brick and cutter are great moves if you position yourself right. The team we beat in winners semi's and losers finals I literally beat 2 on 1 Four ****ing times. Not even they each had one stock, they had like 5 stocks combined, and I had 2 or 3, and partner was ****ing dead. Gah that kid cost me $10.

Anyway tourney was fun, Shears and Balogh were pretty good for never playing anyone outside themselves (cept for Balogh losing $100+ dollars to A$ last summer lol). Too good for me to beat 2 on 1 lol. Real cool guys too, hopefully I'll see them a few times this semester cuz I might be visiting tech anyway and balogh said he might be at UVA. Maybe I have some APPRENTICES! Oh and disclaimer, all the games were on tv's with delay .

Lee you were good too, you just can't get frustrated when you play good people. It's the only way to get better. I spent the majority of APEX getting ***** by top players but by the end of it I was TONS better.

And Clubba is ******* godlike!! He Literally 2 v 1'd both me and redd and wrecked our **** in both winners semis AND losers Finals. Going after his teamate wasnt such a good idea after all

we may have another tournament during 4-UP, april 14th. im working on convincing GGVT to include ssb64 into the list of fighters for the day. so far i havent heard anything back but if it gets the greenlight get ready to smash again.
