Villager is trash tier online

Villager can not win with lag, he kills himself by riding the gyroid for no reason, can't properly shorthop and can't do his extremely difficult combos, don't play villager online

How is this relevant to the development of Villager's meta at all? Not to mention, your statement is flawed, considering this could pertain to a majority of the roster in general. It's common sense to avoid playing against opponents with Internet so laggy that it hinders game-play. Why even post this? What's the point? Lol.

Correction: Villager becomes the worst for you when you play him in lag. The rest of us here are amazing with Villager at any time, because yah know, Villager is amazing all the time.

Also just a tip: Don't play on FG. It hinders growth due to the massive majority of the players being new or having a generally low skill level. And the fact the stages are only Omega won't prepare anyone for tournament seeing how it's the second least used stage.

Some characters might allow you to get away with low level tactics such as rolling and spamming smash attacks as Mac but then you actually do the stuff that works in high level such as d-tilt spacing but realize lag gets in the way of such precise actions

um what.

That could be said about a lot of characters, really. First of all, just straight up don't play in a poor connection.. buuut if for whatever reason that's not an option, you can always adapt to the delay and alter the timing of your attacks - again, just like any other character would have to do in lag. And if we're gonna go there, I'd say it'd be even more frustrating for the opponent to deal with Villager's plethora of projectiles in a laggy match..

But even then, this discussion is fairly pointless. Connection should never be a factor in the viability of a character, especially not based Villy. Just fix your internet dude.
