Video uploading problems

I can't seem to get my videos to upload on any video hosting sites.

on Filefront I get this:

Unfortunately there was an error encountered during the upload. ​

Retry?
Error: IO Error



On Youtube I get this:
The upload failed due to an unknown error.

I tried converting the files but it still didn't help. could someone help me with this?

What's the format and length of the video?

Usually, hosting has size limits on uploads.

Yeah, youtube is generally good with file formats, but if its bigger than 2 gigs (i.e. most AVI files), it's a no go.

The videos are not bigger than 2gbs by the way.

Do you have any sort of firewall/proxy server? If so, then tell it to unblock/allow youtube or something of that sort, or disable it temporarily.
