I seriously need to rent. This is ridiculous.
So basically there's that real life friend of mine who claimed to be tremendously skilled on BlazBlue. I believed him and was in fact quite intimidated if anything. (I know, naive and dumb of mine.)
So yeah, turns out that he ain't as good as he said he was. He's not terrible, as I've got to work for my wins. So far, we've played several nights and he only managed to take one win from me. Something like 40+ wins / / 1 lose for me. As far as I'm concerned, I've never rubbed it in his face and always gave him advices. "Improve this. Work on that. Stop doing this. Get this and that habit off of your gameplay. Learn this, learn that. You're good, keep at it bro."
And so yeah, we've played today and I've won like 8 games. He ragequit on our 9th and 10th game. (He's already done so before but I never told him he was a scrub or anything.) So like, all of a sudden, he tells me that he's going to sub another character to counterpick my Jin (apparently, he doesn't mind my Hazama... My Hazama that's basically an Ouroboros spammer.) He decides that he wants to host, we get into a game and I pick Jin, just like every time I don't pick Ragna, Hazama or Hakumen. And unexpectedly, he picked UNLIMITED JIN.
U N L I M I T E D J I N . Unlimited characters are basically the overpowered modes of all of the cast. Unlimited Jin has, well, kind of unlimited freezing abilities and a whole lot of other stuff. At first, I've had 4 straight rounds (Yes, he put it up to needing 5 rounds to win the whole match... ********.) And so, in the end, he just beat me. Yeah, scrubby spammer beat me.
I don't mind losing, as I'm constantly losing online. But this was just simply frustrating. I usually don't take gaming seriously but that one thing just ruined it all for me. When we were done, he started shouting: "REVERSALLLLL. REVEEERRRSSAAALLLL. I WONNN. I got better than you man
. Those 4 rounds I gave you were just so that you'd feel good about it. I had to contain myself from laughing the whole match. My brother had fun seeing you getting your *** handed over by my improved skills also."
It just went off and I started calling him a scrub. Told him that he was the one who kept on ragequitting and blahblahblah. Really, that's childish of me but whatever. I just tried calming down as he was trying to frustrate me more by saying that it was legit and that he "felt that way whenever he played my Jin."I mean, seriously, this is ridiculous.
I told him that I was sorry for raging like that and he just rubbed it even more in my face. "Maybe because you're a sore loser." Eh, say wha?! I get wrecked online all day long and that last legit won he got was very-well received. I was glad to see that he had put up such a big challenge.
I'm honestly ashamed of myself for taking gaming so seriously. This is ******** as hell.
That little move he pulled off just broke my fun entirely.
Am I that bad of a sore loser or is there lots of people out there that think that, like me, it was just ****ing insulting?
