Video Capture Card?

this is the wrong area to be talking about this btw.
I made a school project on smash bros, and ofcourse money and time were all factors for me. I bought a capture called like 'VideoXpress'. I think it was <65$ im pretty sure, something like that. It comes with its own software, but the program is really bad. The capture card itself is really nice, i plugged in my vcr in to it, because it has the 3 rca cables, and theres a usb coming out the end of it.
