You mean tournament results where we post about our placings in tournaments, or like a thread to have a board tournament?

Don't double post yo :(

Anyway Zee vouched for Salem though so they must be legit
I'm sorry man. I forgot. :/ But, I personally think Salem is OK. That's wassup that Zee gave him props though. They're both great, don't get me wrong, but I feel Salem's could use more work is all.

I did? When was this? I don't remember doing that.

I'm personally not a big fan of his villager myself, but that Nair combo he did on Rob was very nice!

My personal favorite Villager player right now is still Ranai whom I learned a good deal of what I know now from watching his matches.

Huh, I could have sworn you mentioned that name when you were telling me about other good Villagers... I'm probably wrong though, ha ha :080:

We should do a Tournament results thread for Villager mains. Something the Wolf board did a while back that was fun, competing with your fellow mains to be the best.
I won the proud proud honor of 2nd worst wolf on the boards *sniff* Damn Tekkie stole #1 worst :(

I think that it's the better choice in most cases because it has such a disjointed hitbox that'll it'll still hit them if they manage to pop out of it. It's especially useful on characters with weaker air games.
Only situation where i bowl them is if they get Dsmashed at the ledge

So, uh.......is it OK that I use up smash instead of side smash after burying someone with down smash?
Yes, this is the preferred option for multiple reasons.

1. Knockback scaling from your opponent being grounded will reduce the knockback of Fsmash, but not of Usmash probably because Usmash is a multi-hitting move.

2. Usmash is simply quicker. Your opponent will usually be able to escape the Fsmash by mashing out if they are good enough at the matchup that they are always paying attention.

3. Usmash can combo into up air at mid percentages...like a TRUE combo. Test it out in training mode, I still need to get my percentages down.

I generally don't use bowling ball after down-smash unless I know they're at a percentage where I won't get the up-air combo off of up-smash, which would do more damage than F-smash. If you're looking to kill them definitely go for the up-smash, it's way more reliable as Zee pointed out.

Yoooo guys. Villager getting 2nd in Smash 4 doubles at Apex! Is that not awesome? I think I might always use villager in doubles from now on.

MJG is a villager that I've been watching, so I was happy to see them at GF. But my heart broke when Ness' UpB didn't insta kill m2k. Still, double Diddy with ZeRo and m2k. That was rough.

Hi guys! :D

Decided to pick up Villager recently and have been really enjoying him! Hope to learn lots on how to use him from you guys. :)

Villager just, really clicks with me. His trapping game appeals to me. His great aerials are also welcomed. I wished his grab was better since I always loved just relaxing and catching bugs in Animal crossing.

I've been also been meaning to get back into new leaf but I keep forgetting. >.>

Anyway, glad to meet you all. : D

Hey there. So I was never really a fan of AC myself but for some reason when the 3DS demo came out the only character I kept going back to was Villager. Even after the game came out I couldn't stop playing as him. I think he's one character that has a lot of potential and can really mess with unprepared players. I'm probably gonna be bringing my Villager to Xanadu whenever I get to go again so if I do I'll share my experiences!

I couldn't agree more.. Villagers are fairly uncommon, so whenever I do something "crazy" like edgeguard with bowling ball or pull off some pocket shenanigans, players unexperienced with the character are always like "WOOOAAHWOAH WHAT" and I'm like, "Meh, just another day of playing VIlly." I'll definitely keep an eye out for you at S@X!

Also, I love you because your avatar is incredible.

I LOVE how people go crazy over bowling ball connecting, It kind of makes me smile a bit and shows how powerful villager can really be. He's not all cute and talk, he'll wreck you.

Villager doesn't talk, ever. She just stares until you trade furniture with her.

What is this "azereje" thing you talk about?
I was left behind during the Macarena days (in Mexico it was before than everywhere else, for everyone's information).

So, did anyone find out if Villager has start up on the 'Pocket'?
I finally decided to go look at the frame data for Villager courtesy of @Thinkaman. err it seems that Pocket actually pockets on frame 7? correct me if I'm wrong.
