Hey y'all,

I lost my version 1.0 copy of Melee in my apartment fire, so I'm trying to get a new one off of ebay. One of the sellers says his version has DOL P GALE on the back instead of the normal DOL-GALE 0-00 does anyone know what that means? Is this PAL?

GALP is PAL

I have a 1.0 disk. If you have a non 1.0, I can trade it with you

since no one here knows what they’re talking about… every game has a specific code located above the UPC on the back of the case (LOL not disc) in the bottom right corner. The one for melee is DOL P GALE, the one for Zelda Collector’s edition is DOL P PZLE, etc…

tell dude to look at the inner ring of the back of the actual disc in light

and no, PAL melee is not better. In theory… it’s more balanced. so is pm, but it’s not like we’re all dropping real smash for that.

yo darkness you can borrow one of mine if you really need it.

Well 1.2 is easy to come by, and it's free if you have a Wii....
That's how I load mine.

That being said, I have like 3 discs but they are all spotty so I'd feel bad about giving you a disc that is not consistent or has a short life span
