Time: Saturday May 31st 12:00pm – Finish (Please show up by 11:30am)
Cost: $7 towards the Church
Rules:
-Contestants have a pre-determined number of “lives” per match. Winner is the last player with live(s) available.
-Contestants will be ranked at random
-Character Selection is available, please note that some copies may not have all characters unlocked but at least one (1) system will
-Contestants will play one (1) single elimination match with three (3) stock in a tournament ladder format. A time cap of 5 minutes will also be applied. The winner will move onto the next round
-All items will be turned on to MED unless BOTH contestants agree to have them turned off.
-A random Stage will be chosen amongst the following if available: Final Destination, Battlefield, Smashville, Pokemon Stadium 1, Yoshi’s Island, Lylat Cruise.
-A maximum of 64 Contestants will be allowed to join.
-Use of own equipment is allowed after minimal inspection. Be prepared to use provided equipment if your own is rejected.
General Terms: Contestants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the tournament host, which are final and binding in all respects. Tournament host reserves the right to ban unfair play where no refund will be returned. Fair play is subject to tournament host’s discretion.
Prizes:
Prize pool will be dependent on the number of participants. The more participants the larger the prize will be. This will most likely either be a cash prize or a gift certificate to possibly Best Buy or any other game store. Keep in mind that this event is a fundraiser so some of the proceeds will go towards building the Church.
PS. I know there are some very good players that are in my area that i haven't met yet so it'd be great to possibly play with some of these people.
