Not likely, if the whips hit-box is connected directly to Simons Body then he will be effected by it. Whip strike countered by Witch Time can be followed up by Bao's Side Special and then comboed into infinity.

Bayo is probably going to be a tough MU for Simon/Richter unless she receives serious nerfs before release, unfortunately

I not the type of person to demand things from Sakurai, but Bayo needs nerfing. Period. But it looks to me Simon/Richter are gonna be Zoning/slower types so they will probably lose to Bayo.

It would be nice, but it won't be. Link's zair is super long but he gets caught in wt from further away than projectiles. Unless they change the mechanic to be purely distance based, in which case the Bayo mirror gets less weird.
