Valkyria Chronicles

This is a new rpg for the PS3 system. Apparently, this rpg's combat takes place in real time. There are turns, but when you choose a character, you dont move him in squares FE-like, but you get to move him freely, where you can then duck for cover, sneak onto your enemy, and open fire, with crosshairs and all. Looks very appealing.

This is a really good game. It's also one of my fave games on the ps3. It's a shame it didn't sell too well. Sega should Have released It at a better time imo or just bring it out from the 360.

I created a thread for this a while ago but nobody responded to it...

Anyway, I really like this game. One thing I find interesting about it is how the cutscenes and chapters are organized. It kind of reminds me of anime to be honest. Each mission is like one episode (and the reports are like filler episodes lol) and it's interesting and sometimes even shocking to see how it turns out.

Anyone who likes strategies, RPGs, and anime should definitely pick it up. It is one of the best games on the PS3 right now.

I remember reading about the Valkyria Chronicles anime and thinking "That's redundant, Valkyria Chronicles is already an anime." lol

I also saw some of the character designs for the anime. Maybe I'm just more used to the game, but to me the anime designs didn't look as good.
