You misinterpret the text. No Guard makes all moves coming from and going to Machamp hit 100%. Shiri is right. It will not affect the accuracy of your partner's attack.What do you mean? No guard makes both pokemons attacks hit all of the time.
So yeah, I was wrong about the No Guard thing, but you can't blaim me really, I have no personal experience with the game. But I do have an eye for combos, even if they're not supposed to work...You misinterpret the text. No Guard makes all moves coming from and going to Machamp hit 100%. Shiri is right. Be cool if it did though...Everyone in 2-on-2's would call the OHKO clause just out of fear of that combo...\/ \/ \/ \/
IC3R, for your convenience, I just went to the Battle Tower with a No Guard Machamp and a Dugtrio with Fissure. Against a Cranidos and a Luxio, Fissure hit the first time and missed the second, where all Pokemon in play were level 50.
I say we sue Serebii for misinformation!!! Raaarrrggh!!!!
And no, I don't memorize this lol. I just ran some calcs cuz I was wondering if Ember would actually OHKO.
You got a damage formula for everyone?
It looks like we both misunderstood each other. I thought you were saying that No Guard did not raise the accuracy of moves to %100, when infact you were saying that it doesn't affect your partners attacks.You misinterpret the text. You have to keep in mind that Haze and Perish Song are the only reliable counters to evasion. Roar, Whirlwind, Foresight, Odor Sleuth, and Miracle Eye can all miss.So yeah, I was wrong about the No Guard thing, but you can't blaim me really, I have no personal experience with the game. Anyway, this was all to prove a point that lower-tier battles can be a lot more fun an interesting than seeing a thousand Garchomps get ***** by Weaviles over and over...
But I don't get why there are certain move clauses when there are move counters and ability counters...
-------------------------
Sturdy, Protect, Detect--OHKO Clause;
Haze, Foresight, Odor Sleuth, Miracle Eye
Nevermissers (Aerial Ace, Shock Wave, etc.)--Evasion Clause (Double Team)...
Is it laziness, or fear of loss? (0_-) <(?)

Which makes me wonder, does Protect negate Lock-on and Mind Reader?
Oh. Sorry. Lol.It looks like we both misunderstood each other. I thought you were saying that No Guard did not raise the accuracy of moves to %100, when infact you were saying that it doesn't affect your partners attacks.
