I call it Pinks and Purples

Claydol @ Lum Berry
Nature: Careful
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/80 Def/176 SpD
Rapid Spin
Trick
Stealth Rock
Explosion

Basic lead. Rapid Spin to remove other stealth rock leads, sets up stealh rock, and can explode. Hopefully will take out at least one pokemon. Trick is there as an alternate option to remove items from pesky ghost leads and hopefully bait a switch (with any luck after the Lum berry has been used).

Cradily @ Leftovers
Nature: Careful
Ability: Suction Cups
EVs: 252 HP/216 Def/40 SpD
Stockpile
Recover
Leech Seed
Block

After Toxic has been set up by Gastrodon or Chansey Cradily can come in and wall. Block to stop a poisoned opponent from switching and leech seed for extra damage. Stockpile up some defense and recovery it off. Out last your opponent slowly until they die, continue as neccesary.

Spiritomb @ Leftovers
Nature: Calm
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/100 Def/156 SpD
Shadow Ball
Rest
Sleep Talk
HP Fighting

Pretty self explanatory I would think.

Chansey @ Leftovers
Nature: Calm
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/252 SpD/4 Speed
Wish
Aromatherapy
Seismic Toss
Toxic

Self explanatory.

Weezing @ Black Sludge
Nature: Bold
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Hp/252 Def/4 Sp Attk
Flamethrower
Thunderbolt
Haze
Pain Split

Self Explanatory

Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Nature: Careful
Ability: Sticky Hold
EVs: 252 HP/212 Def/44 SpD
Stockpile
Recover
Toxic
Earthquake

Similar to the Cradiliy set with EQ to cover steels. The only thing that this set cannot hit would be a Magneton, Probopass, Steelix, Mawile, Aggron, or Bastidon with Magnetrise.

I would like suggestions on how to improve it if possible. Going to get some matches in with it this weekend and hopefully should be able to make some tweaks.

Ambipom, Froslass, and just about any fast Taunt-user will shut you down. Physical Venusaur gives you problems, and all but Weezing stop it. Froslass will hurt you greatly with Ice Beam as far as leads go, and even then Cresseslia could Calm Mind up and slowly pick everything off.

Consider your own Cresselia, and more attacking moves.

What do Spiritomb and Weezing do for your team?
The point of the team was to build a good sturdy walling team overall and they were good choices. Spiritomb can be used as a spin block, take fighting or normal type hits (except from Kangashkan), and is just plain a solid wall.

Weezing is a good physical wall that has the ability to take down troublesome attackers like Venusar. He resists both of Venusaur's main types and hovers over EQ and can hit back with flamethrower or pain split.

Regarding Rest Talking:

RaikouLover said:
Let me start by explaining the misconception about Sleep Talk users. Sleep Talk should NOT be used as a generic "fix" to defensive pokemon that lack instant recovery, such as Forretress. The main goal of Sleep Talking is to increase the users lifespan thus allowing it to check / counter threats throughout the course of the battle WHILE executing your own strategy simultaneously. Therefore, the important thing to keep in mind is that Sleep Talkers should contribute something to your team other than just absorbing hits. If they are not, you are merely playing into your opponents strategy.

in and of itself that is not necessarily true. in the event that all they have to do is absorb hits, a generic resttalk set is still acceptable. the best 2 examples I can think of immediately are PP stalling or toxic spikes stalling. perhaps walrein is better at both situationally, but spiritomb's pressure is still a respectable alternative even in OU.

too bad, spiritomb was a really good lucario counter.
