Uthrow>Uair help

Whenever I'm playing Fox, and I do the whole uthrow>uair, it never seems to be really all that effective.. it's just like a wimpy little up kick..

Am I just not fully connecting the hit?

Is there any advice and tips that could be given on how to improve this aspect of Fox for me?

Also I've found that bair is a really good move after uthrow, I dunno.

Look at the upair, it's 2 hits.
You can Smash DI out of the first one, so the second on won't hit.
Basically, if you only get the first hit on a computer, you might want to try to aim it just a tad bit higher.
