It's not a "who" that's stopping them, it's a "what". Their Wii broke down and so they were Brawl-less for the past two days. This is why they want someone to host a smashfest so badly.
But I guess one can argue that they can just provide a place to host it, but it's still weird that the host doesn't provide a Wii as well.
Oh, and as for the Smash Wars tournament, here's what happened to people from Utah to the best of my knowledge:
Me: There were total total of 4 people in my pool (3 + myself). I got a 3-0 victory over two of them (woot), and the remaining one didn't show up after registering in the morning (I didn't expect much from a person where his only post on SmashBoards was the post where he registered).
Gojira: He advanced, along with TWO others (despite the fact that only two should advance in each pool), because he was in a three-way tie for first. He beat a guy 3-1, that guy beat the third guy 3-0, and that third guy beat him 3-1. The three of them beat everyone else. They are not counting single games, and only sets won, so their were no tie-breakers. Since three is advancing, there must be a pool where only one person showed up.
Cdbobo: Advanced with a first place seed. That's pretty much all I know for his.
CREA: Poor, poor Junpei... He was the one to not advance in a three-man pool. "Lag Johns" he says. LOL
Xsyven: Decided to drop out and help judge, instead (he said it was more fun watching).
Sada: Said he was going to play on Friday, but ended up not doing it.
BTW, Zack, if both of us wins the first two rounds of brackets, we'll be playing each other.

Meh, I need to get the PIN code for my Wii so I can fix the parental locks before I can do any Wifi stuff. But once I do... who wants to fight me and my Zelda?

Well I said I was going to hold a brawlfest/benefit for Mexican brigade (mainly so they will stop complaining) I just need a date that works for people. So someone shout out a date and that will probably be the date.

Just so everyone knows, MA2 will most likely be on April 26th, giving time for finals and anyone who wants to go to the CCCT. I should know for sure around tomorrow or something.

I'm way too scrapped for cash, so I won't be able to make CCCT. Sorries Phil and others. If a crew doesn't end up taking off to CCCT then the 19th for Sage's and 26th for Nate's (I'm assuming he's the host again, and an awesome host at that) would be uber-tastic.

I am goign to miss everyone and wish i could see how everything developes for brawl...however.....I have decided that with my current condition I must leave the smash scene once and for all(lol, no gojira retirement).
