Updated my disc channel, need help getting gecko os running

I updated my wii's disc channel to run crystal bearers and after the fact the homebrew channel wont boot up brawl with codes very well. It has done it twice out of about 20 tries so far, Im hoping theres some sort of fix for this, I tried updateing to the latest gecko os and reinstalling the homebrew channel.

Anyway, try the Smash Stack exploit to load Gecko from Brawl's stage builder (this is included with the Brawl+, BBrawl and Brawl- downloads if I am not mistaken.) It consists of a custom stage file in /private/wii/app/RSBE/st and a boot.elf in the root directory which is Gecko itself.
You have to take all the other custom stages off your Wii and your SD card first (you can put them on another SD card.)
