I have improved quite a bit; I can now play as well as my brother some of the time. I am also learning to use Captain Falcon.

That being said, he still gets me with his combos. He learns my rolling pattern and exploits it, then dash attacks to fair and continues the combo from there. Any tips?

Don't roll. Ever.

In what game and what character does your brother use?

If it's Brawl, drop Falcon. Really, choose someone else. ANYONE, just not Falcon.

Judging from his last blog, he plays Melee.

In which case he should pick-up Falcon, and not choose anyone else. NO ONE but Falcon.
