Marth is back and he is better than ever.

Am I the only one or is this the most feminine reincarnation of Marth yet?

With a Fire Emblem stage it was obvious he'd come back, and I'm so glad he did, especially with his outfit from Shadow Dragon this time around.
And at least it's not Chrom. Yet.

Well, this was honestly a surprise. Nobody even expected someone like Marth to be confirmed this month.

It is surprising to get someone like Marth to be confirmed all of a sudden like this, but then again that goes for every other character, since for all we know some of the popular and/or unique ones might just get cut this time around.
I'm not surprised about Marth coming back in particular, though. He was in the last two Smash games, has appeared or has been referenced in more than one Fire Emblem game (making him the most recurrent character in the series), he's pretty unique in Smash (no other character has an active sweetspot on every move besides Marth with his Falchion), and with that Fire Emblem stage for 3DS, regardless of it possibly being the arena from FE: Awakening, which is a game he's not really part of (sans the DLC and Spotpass unit which still don't make him a major character), it all pretty much guaranteed a spot for at least one Fire Emblem rep tbh.
That new FE:A stage is kinda making me hope for Lucina though. Hopefully not Chrom, but yes.

Marth looks masculine from a distance, but the closer you go, the more feminine he appears.

MARTH IS A TRAP!

Nice... I like the new design. Also, is it just me, or does he look more masculine?

I would certainly argue the opposite. This is his most feminine incarnation (subjectively speaking). They obviously added some more masculine attributes to him, but he still looks predominantly feminine in my opinion.

(Compare with the Marth from SSB4)

The eyes, head shape, and jaw all suggest feminine attributes, but the position of the armor is more fit to his body, along with a few other things in the clothing points to a slightly more masculine figure. But, the previous attributes (eyes, jaw) do highlight the more feminine, while the former attempts to blend both. And because the Smash community consists largely of males, the feminine aspects will be more noticed.
