Up Tilt on Wiimote

When I have guests at my house to play brawl there is someone that has to use the Wiimote without nun-chuck.

The problem is that nobody wants to play using the Wii-mote because nobody knows how to up-tilt with it.

Can some one please explain to me how it is executed?

Just get a numchuck. There're kinda cheap nowadays, and it is a LOT more practical to learn how to play with the wii/numchuck combo then just the wii remote.

note: never played with Wiimote

Couldn't you hit up and 2 quickly before the jump animation kicks in?

Steal a gamecube controller!

Problem solved. ;)
Out of the question.

Nunchucks are hard to get around these parts.

No, than I execute an UP-smash.

either u remap the jump button and then disable up-jump, or like what the others have suggested, do a barrel roll, or some other move to buffer up. Did i just say do a barrel roll?
