Up taunt?

I realized that the changed the "Tasty!" or "Not even close." taunt with a taunt where he smokes a cigarette and takes 1% damage, but what is the point of the 1% damage? Just a cool little neat homage to MGS, or is there any kind of special upside as to why he takes damage? Like how in MGS he keeps his psyche up.

I doubt there is any cool upside like Lucario's taunt, but yeah, just curious.

well if you flick it on an opponent you do some damage... i haven't experimented with it enough to tell you how much but it was neat

I think it does like 4% damage and a small amount of knockback.

You'll have a cigarette in your mouth after you do it as well.

It's just homage to MGS. It even has the "losing health" sound effect that plays when you smoke in the games.

Doesn't the cig have a glitch where it stays floating as if it were on the stage if it's "flicked off"? If so you could test and see if it retains a hitbox.

Snake taunt gimps ftw.
