Usmash is a great kill move which works well as an anti-air, and is rather powerful when fresh and with rage. Here are detailed kill %s with DI on Final Destination, which has the same ceiling height as Smashville, Duck Hunt and Dreamland 64. Kill %s were tested at various amounts of rage. Credit goes to warionumbah2 warionumbah2 for the lab work. This is accurate to the latest patch (1.1.5).

Usmash's hits have three hitboxes. In hits one (3%) and two (2%), two hitboxes have a knockback angle of 135 and one has a Sakurai angle (366). Hit three (4%) ie. the finisher has two hitboxes with an 85 degree knockback angle and one hitbox with a 90 degree angle. It is assumed that the centre hitbox in the gfy above is the "odd one out" in these cases, but this has yet to be confirmed.

These numbers are likely done in training mode, I assume, as they are off slightly. Bayonetta dies at 115% in versus mode, while Cloud dies at 129%, for instance. There are different hitbox angles on up smash 3. I would check the angles but Kuroganehammer is down at the moment. You need to adjust for these because one of them kills earlier because it sends more vertically, and it is inconsistent which one you will get mid game.

If you want to get the short characters, have them taunt. It will alter their animation.

I also feel you doing rage % beyond 150% and maybe 90% is a waste of effort. As long as a player knows min-max you can make adjustments mid match based off simple math.

This isn't being done in training mode, the correction is much appreciated.

If you want to get the short characters, have them taunt. It will alter their animation.

This is now complete, with the exception of Lucas which I'll do when I get my Wii U back in order (who plays him anyways?).

EDIT: Mag labbed the %s for me so we good.

Ok guys, I think killing with MK is really something to learn, so I started to move this project even beyond.
I'm testing USmash %kill outside training mode at Battlefield , and will do the same at Town & City and Lylat.
It's a slow process because outside training is hard to get the exact data, so I'm finishing Battlefield yet.
My Wii U is not here (I left with my little bro for a while), so the Wii U I have in this house don't have any DLC.

If someone could help me only with the DLC characters, I would appreciate.
I wanted to do this with S.Loop too, but because this is a move you will constantly stale, is not worth.
UThrow kills percents will be next.
Let's lab and optimize our punish game.
