Unnatural orbit of the Moon?

the moon orbits in a manner which defies the supposed laws of physics!

I was wondering if any one had further explanation of this picture?
I want to buy a telescope and check it out for my self... but would the wobble of earth cause the images to appear odd?

Its a picture of the moon. The moon is going through phases of darkness as it rotates. It maintains one face towards the Earth due to gravity. It is also made of cheese.

It doesn't keep one face toward the earth because of gravity! It's because the moon goes through one rotation in the same time as it takes for one revolution around the earth. I'm guessing the funkiness of the movements in that picture is just because the speed of its rotation/revolution and the earth's rotation are not exactly the same so there are some fluctuations.

Also, the moon is the only satellite colonized by the USA; that's why there are American flags on it.

Nuh-uh, it was definitely caused by the gravity gun from HL2 which was used a long time ago when a wormhole made Gordon Freedman come back and slow the movement of the moon to keep it from tearing the Earth apart.

There were also magic brownies that made time slow down so you could do more stuff in one day.

That GIF looks awesome.. But I guess the orbit isn't perfect.. so there may be different angles that they see it at.

I already said that it is due to gravity. The moon isn't a perfect sphere, one side is more massive than the other. As it rotated around the Earth it slowly bumped itself into alignment (kinda). But since nothing in the universe is perfect, neither is the rotation of the moon. Nothing is breaking the laws of physics, you just don't understand how they are being applied in this instance.
