Unlocking characters.

Your putting words in my mouth. I never said that Sonic would be the best. I know that gimpyfish could own my top tier marth. I'm saying that because we are good players, we could beat newbs with practically anyone. I think it wuld be funny if I was just owning some newbs with Sonic, and they would feel bad because they can't play as Sonic (or snake) and they'd cry "it's not fair, I don't have Sonic". then I'll rematch them in a ditto and still own them..

couple of problems with this post.

1. Gimpyfish is on a whole other level than you are.

2. There IS a difference between a newb and a noob.

3. Why would you be mean to somebody who doesn't have a character. That makes smashers look bad. Give advice to the people because if you go around beating people who are just starting out, who really looks like the noob. Don't make smashers look bad.

About the unlocking of the characters, there might be some that you get from playing through regularly or maybe some that require a certain thing be done. Anything besides those two would be interesting to see.

I hope it would be lik Melee's form of Unlocking ( complete certain game mode, play VS. match #### times)...but of course there should be like somthing a bit more challening in Brawl.....(plz dont let there be any thing u have to unlock by completing something on Very Hard....I cant do it)

tru her "Rest" Attack is the best way to get rid of Giga bowser......the same can not be said for Mewtwo and Ganondorf in my case however.(freaking Ganondorf's "Dark Dive" special attack >.< ).......wait....who did I use to get rid of all them again?????

But I seriously would like the unlockables to be challenging to unlock. I just feel more rewarded. I remeber, back before I was "good" at smash. I beat all the BtTs and I got Dreamland. I was so proud of myself. I want to work my azz off getting Snake, and I don't mean 1000 VS. Matches. I wish the game was more challenging, not just a stupid handicap. I mean, it should take me at least 3 tries fighting Dr. Mario to unlock him, but it's not hard at all.

I support your idea of a challenge for a hard earned way of unlocking characters but the only thing i have to say is u gotta word it a dif way cause all of us including me i think took it as your calling everyone noobs.

To be honest i really love this games challenges but the one thing i hated was when u get all the characters noones there so your like "uhhh hey who wants to umm...." So lets pray for online.

Melee was fine in my opinion, though I'm sure they'll have loads of unique and fun ways to unlock them in this one

Try Advance Wars or Fire Emblem on higher difficulties if you want a difficult game by Nintendo.

kids these days just dont understand. You made it sound like you were the one going on about beating noobs just because they think that they are good. we were all like that once. If it was a joke, then post it in a different thread, justifying everything as a joke is stupid. you said, " ....because we are good players." as if to place yourself on the same level as him.



About the characters, if the Adventure mode plays the same as before, why not put the secret characters and other secrets like the subtanks and upgrades like in the megaman series. when you find the character the screen changes and you fight them. just my idea.
