this tournament was like a week ago and i forgot that there is some pretty good luigi action and some luigi dittos between two good luigis. something that is pretty rare.

I suggest you just mute the videos. the audio is really loud and not synced with the video. the guys at UCLA have a crappy capture card.

Great matches! tough break against Ultra, he's really good. I liked your playing strategy against Samus, staying close range to avoid being missiled to hell. I recently thought about putting that strategy into place,and now that I see that it works effectively, I have more confidence against Samus'

well....hugs is a pretty passive samus. he sits in his shield a lot more than actually missle spamming you.

so if you were to play a samus who just missle spammed a bunch......it would be a little harder.

f-tilt, tornado, and waveshielding are a nice way to get through missles tho.

Good show against a very good Samus.

I'm surprised HugS never figured out how to deal with your ledgedash -> tornado. All he had to do was CC D-Smash it, or WD out of the shield -> D-Smash. Heck CC in general pwns Luigi and he rarely took advantage of it.

Ultra Luigi is still fast as ever; his jab -> Up-B is still too good. What happened with the 3rd match though?

Samus is a really big problem for luigi. but how many people know how to properly play agaisnt luigi?

samus is great at edge aurding luigi.
the up tilt, and down angled f smash make it impossible for luigi to up b without getting hit. hugs didnt really so this.

missile spam is annoying and hugs didnt really do this either.

and like most really good players i play (for some reason) they get hit by the down b A LOT. but i could of just stopped using that if he caught on anyway.

I doubt there’s any footage of me playing in a crew battle, Team McRusty wasn’t exactly one of the popular crews there. We did beat Team 8 Bit and that was recorded but I didn’t get to play, our crew owned them by like 10 or 11 stocks. I’m not sure if anyone recorded the crew battle against Super Friends + DeepSocal but I managed to take 4 stock off of Edrees and 2 off of Hugs. Then Hugs went on a rampage and took everyone out, more than 12 stocks for sure.

Thanks for putting them here ROFL. I’m really curious how well we would do in a double Luigi team, maybe we can arrange something so it can happen.

I really need to work on Falcons or fast fallers on general, but at least I have these vids to study off of.

Crafty, getting those Hugs matches recorded, too good.
