Ultimate is pulling me back in

Hey all,

I go by the name Nine, I'm a grad student, and I've been a Smasher since Day 1 of 64's launch. I was fairly competitive back in the Melee and Brawl days, and mostly used Smash Wii U to keep some old rivalries with friends alive. I used to live in Austin (where my Smash network remains), but moved to Colorado for grad school a little over a year ago. Since then, I've had a terrible time finding other rad nerds to play Smash with, and I've been feeling to urge to get back into the competitive scene. Figured if nothing else, I can use this board to find some solid online matches on Ultimate's launch day. Gotta balance out the stress of PhD work somehow!

Anyway, I'll be bopping around on the forums mostly as a way to procrastinate. See y'all around!

I mean I try not to think of 27 as that old, haha.

I'm going for my doctorate in political science, specifically I study Marxist Theory and Environmental Policy. It's pretty rad.
