UFO's, conspiracy? cover ups? (texas mass sightings)

Are we alone?

Actually, not quite the topic I want to discuss. It's very hard (and in my opinion, very ignorant) to believe that outside the .0000000001% of the universe we know, there isn't a single other planet with some form of stable life.

But it's not so much are we alone, but more along the lines of "Have we been visited? And are we now?"

Can there be any doubts that this wasn't some form of cover up?


And recently, in early January of this year, a mass outbreak of UFO sightings were reported in Texas. Many witnesses, even radar proof.

Basically, there was proven UFO's in the area (UFO's do not necessarily mean aliens) and no one is taking responsibility.

Now, when I think about it, it could go either way. Would the government really let go a mass outbreak of foreign aircraft near a place the President could very well be? Would they let the people of America believe they'd let something go so easily?

Now i'm saying this in hope of not being called crazy.
i don't think that they were UFO sightings, (not to say UFO's arn't real, i think they are).
i believe that the US government keeps alot from us, such as how up to speed they are with technology and such. I think that those were not UFO's but were highley advanced aircraft's being tested by the airforce.
Americans are afraid, afriad that they will not be the worldpower. and i think the us govenment is doing all they can to make sure if something happens, they will be able to stay on top, by any means neccesary.

I know its sounds crazy but america is falling look how low there economy is.

of course roswell was a cover-up, they were testing a spy balloon that was meant to be sent to the USSR. the documents have since been declassified and released to the public.

if aliens had the technology to travel the vast distances between stars, dont you think theyd be competent enough to avoid being sighted by the dumbest segment of our society? every clear photograph of a "flying saucer" is such an obvious fraud.. why the heck would spaceships be shaped like a saucer anyway? and why are descriptions of aliens always humanoid? do you really think aliens that evolved completely separately from us in a completely different environment would be the same height, bilaterally symmetrical, have two legs, two arms, two eyes, one nose, one mouth, etc etc?

I really believe in life on other planets.
There may be no atmosphere, water, or oxygen on other planets, but who says that's what supports all life?
Moreover, we don't know anything about these supposed beings' technology, and if they exist, it's very possible we could have or can be visited.

I believe that there is life in other planets. However, I don't think that we have/are being visited. Like Stroupes stated, different lifeforms can adapt to live in harsh conditions. Even when the Earth could not sustain human life, bacteria and other organisms were able to live.

My sister lives in Stephenville, Texas, and I visit it a lot. I've met people who've been interviewed. They're god**** hick farming idiots. Half of the town is embarrassed by it and the other half is using it to try and get tourists. The military acknowledged that they were flying jets over the area. I really think you have to be delusional or incapable of doing your own research to believe we're visited by aliens.

Well,m I'll havw to agree with the first post. WE only know what's in our tiny little 9 planets, and probably less than that. It wqould be ignorant to say that there is no life in any other galaxy trillions of miles away. It's like saying that we know every species of fish in the entire sea.; We will only keep discovering more and more.

Of course it isn't. But it was the one presented. There has yet to be a single incident where evidence points towards it being aliens. Just recently there was a scare is Pheonix again about three lights moving around, and it was recorded, but it turned out to just be some guy who attached lights to balloons and moved them around for a joke.

Seriously though, we know nothing about life on other planets/galaxies, or what it takes to support other life forms.
What if humans aren't the only living creatures in existance?
There could be more, and certainly ones who don't require the same needs as we do to live.

We could never know unless we knew of these beings' technology.
And claiming to see a UFO isn't knowledgable enough to conclude whether or not aliens have visited us or not.

Forget research, more like indexing, just a passing glance. If anything had/has that capability to travel that far we probably aren't of much interest or use to them seeing as how our technology and civilization would be completely obsolete.

Anyway, as the the 1st post said. Your stupid to think that there is not some sort of intelligent life out there other than us. Who knows? maybe they are still in the caveman stage, but they are still intelligent. Have they visited us? CONSPIRACY MAN!!!! *Smokes* CONSPIRACY MAN!!!! Really.

Maybe they have. More than 90% of UFO cases are solved. Also, as mentioned in the thread, Aliens smart enought to travel here certainly couldnt be stupid enough to been seen...unless they WANTED to be seen "duh duh ddduuunnnnn".
But yeah, most major UFO sightings, in my opinion, are advanced aircraft test. Look how many sightings of the Air forces first Stealth plane, the F-117 NightHawk(a.k.a the stealth fighter) were reported as UFOs. It was almost 10 years before the U.S government admitted to the F117s existence, and that was because it saw limited action over Panama. Then we all know how it kicked serious tail in the first Gulf war.

Point is, goverment hides a lot from us. Not because of conspiracy, but for our own safety. They don't want hostiles knowing about our super cool toys.
