TOURNAMENT RULE SET:
- GENERAL RULES -
  • Items are set to off
  • The stock is set to 4
  • 8:00 Timer
  • All sets are best 2 of 3 matches with the exception of Winner/Loser/Grand Finals
  • Winner/Loser/Grand Finals are best 3 of 5 matches
  • In the event of a dispute, controller ports will be selected by Rock-Paper-Scissors
  • Modified DSR: No player may choose the stage they last won on
  • Ties will be broken by lives, then percentage. In the event of a percentage tie, one stock sudden death will be played
  • The Ice Climber Freeze Glitch is not banned because I find it hilarious. If the match is made unfinishable, however, the IC player forfeits that match.
  • Jigglypuff's rising pound stall is banned
  • Peach's bomber stall beneath levels where she is unreachable is banned.
- STAGE LIST -
- Neutrals -
  • Final Destination
  • Battlefield
  • Dream Land 64
  • Yoshi's Story
  • Pokemon Stadium (Doubles)
  • Fountain of Dreams (Singles)
- Counter Picks -
  • All Neutral Stages
  • Pokemon Stadium (Singles)
  • Rainbow Cruise
  • Brinstar
  • Kongo Jungle 64
- NEW WOBBLES COMPROMISE -
Wobbling is legal but may not be used to take any more than one stock, regardless of percent. Wobbling is only said to occur once the grab becomes unbreakable. In the event the wobbler mistimes the technique or fails to KO the opponent after the grab is otherwise unbreakable, the player is still charged with their one wobble.

- STAGE AND CHARACTER SELECTION -
You may ask for a double blind pick first round. First round stage is selected by the stage striking process. Players (or teams) will take turns eliminating stages from the STAGE LIST until only 1 mutually agreed upon stage exists.
  • After the first round, the winner will select one stage to ban.
  • Loser will then select one stage to ban.
  • Loser chooses a valid stage.
  • Winner selects a character.
  • Loser selects a character.
When Counterpicking, you cannot go back to a stage that you have most recently won on.

- FACING THE SAME OPPONENT -
There is NO extending sets upon playing the same opponent. Finals will be played as a best 3 of 5 set. If the player from the loser's bracket wins, another set will by played out.

- CREWS -
Crews will be running off a draft system dependent on the singles bracket. 1st and 2nd place are assigned as team captains. Players will be drafted in a 1-2-...-2-1 fashion. The 2nd place finisher gets first pick. Players in the top 13 are eligible to be drafted (16 players); however if some of those players are not present at the end of the tournament 17th place finishers are eligible as well.

Update: Changing tournament format to Swiss Round Robin (5-6 rounds) followed by an 8 man bracket.

Bring setups, etc kids. You know the drill.

Pat, how exactly is Swiss gonna work? So basically, we do 5-6 rounds depending on number of entrants, and then you take the top x number of people with most points and seed them according to the number of points they have?
