hey guys :D my name's max. i live in cerritos (next to norwalk) but i'm going down to UCSD for college. i know ucsd has a decent melee scene (though nothing can beat GREV's..) and i've gone down to UCSD for wintergamefest for the past two years now. i'm planning on going all four years of undergrad so that'll be six years all in a row. :D i'm not good enough to be known at all but i won assassin's creed 2 in the drawing near the end of the first day of WGF.

the only person i really smashed with other than my friends up here is albert (a rookie), a good mario.

phone 562 412 2200

also i'm in warren. computer science: bioinformatics major.

Hey Max, welcome to college and all that. The scene here has been very active this past year, and you should definitely check out the Monday+Friday smashfests that happen every week in 6th college. This thread is also the social/whatever you need UCSD thread, and it's extremely active. You should go introduce yourself in there :) If you're here now, there's definitely lots of smash on going on still (although much less than during the school year), so you should definitely come check it out on Monday.

I'm not at SD yet, moving in in the fall (Sept 14, early for warren orientation) so I'll just post in that thread when my presence becomes more relevant.

thanks ! :D

Hit us up here once you move in and want to play. People will probably be down to play immediately if you have a setup at your dorm. Good luck with orientation btw. The early mornings are definitely tough.

I'm tristan btw, and, as Jun said, GREV has nothing on SD. We play at least 2 times a week as a crew and more often in small groups.
