I shook my head. Why would a sole player's word decide who ultimately lives and dies? Why would this poor old sack of bones decide whether or not the person I arbitrarily selected would ultimately make endgame? I threw my hands up. Town had no interest in picking players to live. They would almost surely die. I certainly would not seal anyone's death like that.

The single-lettered man was fishing, fishing for a lot of things. Roles, townies, information scum should not have their hands on. It struck me as odd. I quickly kicked dirt over my initial vote and scrawled on the ground:

I shifted my gaze back to the single-lettered man. He asked what I disliked. How could I show it? I couldn't tell him and pictorial evidence wasn't going to do a lot. I couldn't stall for time as I wrote things down I disliked. I made a crude gestures of fishing and hoped he understood.

He was not getting the person I liked. That information was not coming out. Not yet.
