Two Questions...

First, can you play Project M with the Wii Mote/Nunchuk, and second, is it true that you can play using Wifi, and if so, what's it like? (Is there a Basic Project M, or is it wifi code set)

Yes, you can play Project M with the Wii Remote/Nunchuck. You can only play WiFi if you are using the WiFi build of Project M. WiFi still lags because Brawl's WiFi is bad, but, the input delay that we fixed makes it slightly better.

You can play with any wii controller
Wifi works, you need to download the wifi version of pm, it has as much lag as brawl

Excellent. The both of you were very helpful. I'm downloading the demo for the online version now.

As far as the online play goes, do people play often, or will I have to spend hours and hours waiting for a match? Basically, in comparison to the amount of people who play Basic Brawl, how many people play Basic PM, if there is such a thing.

You have to specifically find players looking for a PM match. By the very nature of playing mods online, you'll desync from the match if you play Basic Brawl.

I figured. What I was hoping for was something akin to a server specifically for Project M players that allows them to play "Basic Project M" of sorts, but I guess that idea isn't happening.

there are chats that make it easy to find opponents, try the PM IRC at the top of the genéal discussion forum, or DaBessDi chat which i don't have a link to unfortunately
