Two Events for D/P/Pt Announced

I thought I'd just let you guys know about these two events if you haven't heard of them on Serebii already.

The Pikachu Colored Pichu will be given out at GameStop stores in America from January 30th, 2010 to February 14th, 2010. You download it onto Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, and if you transfer it to Heart Gold/Soul Silver once they come out, it will unlock the Spiky-eared Pichu.

There is also a Jirachi to be given out at GameStop, though there are not yet confirmed dates for it. It is supposedly going to be released at the end of February, however. This is the same situation as the Pikachu Colored Pichu, but rather than unlocking a Pokémon when it's transferred, it will unlock a PokéWalker course.

I'll update this thread as news comes in.

Personally, I'm just glad they finally are holding events at GameStop again. The nearest Toys "R" Us to me is 30+ minutes away, ever since the one about 10 minutes away from me went out of business, so I didn't end up getting the official Arceus event.

Wow. Makes me wish I had WiFi now. Arceus was one of the few remaining I need to complete my Dex.
