It's that time again. Our biggest tournament of the year is coming up. There is a lot of stuff that's still TBD (including the venue itself) so we'll keep you up to date with what's going on but here's the current date along the lineup. Yes we're aware that it's so close to Evo but it can't be helped.
Venue fee: 5$
Saturday
2pm - Soul Calibur 4 - 2$
2pm - Super Smash Bros Melee - 10$
3pm - Mortal Kombat 9 - 5$
4pm - Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition 2v2 Teams - 5$ per player (that makes it 10$ per team)
6pm - Marvel vs Capcom 3 2v2 Teams - 5$ per player (that makes it 10$ per team)
Teams will be single game all they way through. Therefore, if you have any sort of MMs or exhibitions planned, please do them on the Saturday after the tournaments as opposed to Sunday.
Sunday
2pm - Random game tournament - 2$
2pm - Super Street Fighter II Turbo - 2$
3pm - Blazblue CS2 - 5$
4pm - Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition Singles - 10$
6pm - Marvel vs Capcom 3 Singles - 10$
Venue: Room 543-544 in the University Centre 5th floor.
Yes there is a venue fee this year. It's necessary to cover the costs of the venue rental. 5$ gets you access to enter any of the tournaments and then you pay for the tournament entry fees on top of that.
If you can't find the room, I will be posting a video with directions to the venue hopefully a week prior to the event.
