Trouble with "neutral" attacks.

In trying to do some more advanced techniques lately, I've run into a problem. I have a hard time doing neutral attacks. I main Falco and Marth. For both, I have a hard time dashing into a short-hopped nair, I usually fair instead (which proves devastating when using Falco), and the same thing happens with doing a ledgehopped aerial, I fair instead of nair. With Falco's SHL, I will instead do the Falco Phantasm and do a lovely SD.

I guess another problem I have is with attack-cancelled fast falls (best way to describe it). For example, I short-hop a nair on Marth, and he does the first swing but not the second. With Falco, the blaster firing sound happens, but no shot comes out. I think I need to hit the attack earlier in the jump, but I'm not sure.

Remember to let go of the analog stick when you go to hit A or B otherwise you will do <-B or ->B instead. I hope this helps.

When your moving forward just let go for the split second to use the move and then go back to moving and as for your second problem just make sure that you tap the button quickly, sometimes its good to perform them rising, and pretty soon it will all just be muscle memory.

That Falco thing happens with me all the time. I think (but I'm not sure) that's because Falco's laser start-up time is greater than that of Fox's.

I have a lot of trouble shffling Marth's nair as well.
