So I have no trouble racking up damage using Zamus, but I can never seem to hit someone far enough to die. Even when using the smash attacks, no one seems to die until they are at 150%-180%...Any tips on what I should do?

Dthrow > UpB > Bair

VICTORY!

You can just Bair too if you're confident.

the optional attack off of down b is pretty amazing at decent damage. placing it is tricky but the height you get off of hanging on the ledge will hit an unsuspecting edge guarder

Also don't be afraid to use both your regular jumps to go out to recovering opponents. With downB and tether recovery, you can easily make your way back from a long way away, even after double jumping out to a bair or fair to finish them off.

Or rather: Use 1 jump to gain height and distance from the stage. Use your down-B, but dont let out the kick unless you know its going to hit. Then, use your 2nd to gain the height and distance you need back to the stage. The first jump from the stage should be able to launch you far enough towards your opponent with the new physics.

The following moves can kill at around 100% on a regular weight character:
Back-Aerial
Side B
Down B's Kick

The following moves tend to kill at around 150% on a regular weight character:
Up Aerial
Forward Aerial
Forward Smash

zero suit samusget most of her kills from edgegaurding, contrary to Ike and dedede. You havea positioning jump, a recovery jump, a down-b recovery, and a tether recovery, so edgeguarding is possible if you practice, just don't take a risk unless it's worth it...
