Trophies

okay, ive been thinking how everyone has been soo excited that pit and andross and all those other guys featured as trophies. anyway b4 i was like "yes they are definately going to be in the game" but then ive been thinking about it lately, and my hopes are getting a bit down. When saw at gamecubeXL all the guys as trophies, i thought to myself that I doubt all the trophie guys will be actual players. I saw shyguy, diddy, and a whole bunch of guys. Maybe they have trophies for playable characters AND non playable boesses or something...

man soo many mysteries to be unveiled heh!

I think they are like rewards whenever you pass the 1P game or a bonus level etc. Say whenever I defeat Master Hand, a random piece of Nintendo memorabilia is "given" and you can view it under some option in the menu. Maybe they will provide some background information as well for a little history lesson.

That would add an incentive to play more, and maybe more interesting items are only available at higher difficulty levels or with certain characters. I.e Playing with Mario would unveil stuff from earlier games that we all forgot about, pikachu would show pokemon and I think that was the ZERO-ONE from Snap, and the Ice Climbers would give other classic or retro games from the NES.

I agree with Yavarice's theory, I'm adding on to the ideas. Say, for example, I beat 1p mode on Very Hard without losing a singlr life I could get some really big important trophy with that character.

My opinion is that every time you beat 1p mode you gain points (the harder the more points; and if you give up during the 1p mode you get parchil points) and when you get enough points then you can buy them.

Wait a minute! Didn't guys watch the movie on IGN.com.(Or was it GameCubeXL.com). Anyway the very first scene a player was BUYING a charcter trophy. Then it said Got it! I think the game is like Marvels v.s. Capcom 2! In that game every stage you beat you get money! So in then that means that Nintendo is just tring to make a better game then Marvels v.s. Capcom 2. Oh and uh you would still get secret charcters the same way.
