I really don't know if this is well know about town and city, but it was about time I tried to contribute.The side platforms that appear in the beginning of the stage are the perfect height for some shenanigans for several reasons:
- it's the height at which a SD jump ends right on top of those side platforms
- Uair has a frame 11 auto cancel, almost guaranteeing an auto cancel on these platforms (and most platforms in general)
- using the auto cancel SD -> jump -> uair -> short hop/jump -> uair/nair becomes a true combo
- this can(around 25-30%) even set up a spring uair, which will kill thanks to the low ceiling the stage is known for
- Spin charge jump still lands on the platforms also causing sonic to slide across the platforms which he can act out of (kinda like using a spin shot onto the stage from below the ledge)
- an instant double jump is a near perfect height
- Vertical spin dash jump works with this
- vertical spin charge jump does not work (doesn't reach high enough with this)
- Bair can be input in either the SDJ or SCJ and will auto cancel if input fast enough
- Dair (obviously), Fair and Nair will not auto cancel out of either
