Tourneys are free for all only?

Is Nintendo serious?! I waited for this so I can finally attend some tournaments and now its free for all only... Its not so hard to program an option for 1vs1 fights and the possibility for a KO system and not total wins or points. I hope they fix their tournament mode.

idkI only play wiiU version. But if 3ds has it it should be: Online -> and then search through everything since I don't know how the buttons are called in english ^^
