I originally posted my videos in the "friendlies" section, but this seems just as pertinent here.

So about two weeks ago I decided to drop my old main (Ganon) and pick up Captain Falcon. I was able to do some preliminary research on him before hand, but aside from some very basic knee set-ups I'm kinda just experimenting with what does and doesn't work.

The original thread with my videos is: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=186837

What I really need help/am looking for is advice on style and some very basic combos. I know the throw --> knee combos and the throw --> f-smash ones (on fast-fallers and top 5anyway) what I'm loooking for is a reliable way to damage my opponent so I can get them to KO percentages.

Also, I really need help on what to do against floaties. As you can see from the Samus match, most of my hits came from knees and stomps when my opponent left himself open. I really don't know any set-ups for Peach/Samus. So I would really appreciate any advice regarding play against floaties.

Finally, what are some good Falcon resources? I've checked out AngeloBangelo's FAQ but I've heard it's a bit out-dated (is it?). I've begun reading G-reg's topic too, but that will take some time. Aside from these and the other stickies, are there any other must-read Falcon topics?

Thanks for all the help in advance and I hope you enjoy the matches!

Watching vids is probably going to do more for you than any reading you're gonna find. Darkrain and Isai are musts, G-Reg vids are incredible if you can find any, watch I Killed Mufasa (needless to say).

The bottom line is that you rack up damage on spacies by tech chasing and punishing, middle-weight characters you combo the balls off of, and light weight characters are uaired almost infinitely, then dthrow kneed.

Watch vids of matches and you'll learn a lot.
